SACRAMENTO sLOW fOOD cook's ALLIANCE
The Sacramento Chapter of Slow Food Cook’s Alliance is a group of local cooks, chefs and makers in the 916. We're part of a network uniting cooks around the world who are committed to defending and celebrating biodiversity, food traditions, local cultures, and artisanal food producers.
Membership Programs
Slow Food U, where you can take a deep dive into interesting food products or its process, like Amari or Herbs and Olive Oil. Join our Supper Club, where participants regularly contribute a dish for a home-based thematic potluck. Our book club meets regularly, check out our featured book from your local Sacramento Library.
Book Club
The Slow Food Sacramento Book Club is a book club for readers who enjoy food-related literature, both non-fiction and fiction. The club meets at 6:30 pm on the second Thursday of every other month at one of our member’s homes. Everyone who attends brings an appetizer to share, and we enjoy an evening of lively literary discussion.
